We use the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment tool (http://www.prepare-enrich.com). The PREPARE/ENRICH customizes your results to help you identify strength and growth areas in your relationship. Our therapist interns will help you build skills to enhance your relationship.
Objectives of premarital counseling:
- Explore strength and growth areas
- Strengthen communication skills
- Identify and manage major stressors
- Resolve conflict
- Develop a more balanced relationship
- Explore family of origin issues
- Discuss financial planning and budgeting
- Establish personal, couple, and family goals
- Understand and appreciate personality differences
The cost to complete PREPARE/ENRICH is $29.95 and you will pay directly online when registered by your therapist.* The cost per therapy session is $25 per 50-minute session or, if requested, will be based on our sliding fee scale determined during your initial session. *PREPARE/ENRICH is voluntary and you do not have to use the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment tool to participate in premarital counseling. During your initial session, you can discuss using the assessment tool in your future sessions.
